If you’ve been keeping up with viral videos lately, you may have come across the story of Nyeeam Hudson, a 10-year-old motivational speaker who gained attention after he was bullied for wearing Fila sneakers.
Hudson, who goes by the nickname KingNahh, took the opportunity to speak out against bullying and materialism with an Instagram post, which has since received 35,500 views.
“I think they’re cool. They might not be what’s popular today, but that’s what I like,” Hudson said of the Fila sneakers. “So I told the kid, ‘It’s not about what I have on my feet. It’s about what I have inside my head.'”
The thought-provoking speech was already enough to get people talking, but it’s what happened next that makes this story truly special. After catching wind of Hudson’s viral video, Fila invited the New Jersey native to its executive office.

Hudson had the chance to tour Fila’s facility, kick his feet up in the boardroom, and meet with executives at the brand.
“The incident in the park was an opportunity to share a story that could have had a bittersweet ending — but instead opened the door to opportunity,” Fila wrote in a press release.
