Puma Unveils Two New Running Shoes For Spring

Germany-based athletic brand Puma unveiled its latest spring running releases: two silhouettes using the brand’s Ignite cushioning technology.

The Speed 600 Ignite is in stores now, and the Ignite Ultimate will make its way to retail in men’s and women’s sizes this month.

According to the brand, the Ignite Ultimate is designed to stay comfortable and provide energy return throughout your workout. The shoe features a raised midsole height and an articulated chevron design for cushion and responsiveness. Its midsole design allows it to compress on landing and rebound for greater energy return. The shoe also features a three-layer mesh upper.

The brand’s sponsored sprinter, Usain Bolt, is training in the shoe for the Summer Olympic Games in Rio, according to the brand.

The brand’s Speed 600 Ignite, a new technical running shoe designed for faster everyday performance, is the latest addition to its Speed series.

It includes the brand’s latest and greatest technologies: Ignite Foam, a forefoot Propulsion Zone that helps the runner generate more speed through the toe-off, and Everfit +, which locks the foot down for a secure fit that doesn’t inhibit its natural movement.
