The football star’s signature JJ I sneaker release included a Reebok Mobile Tour that made stops at sportswear retailer Academy’s stores throughout the city.
The celebration also included a Watt-inspired mini-combine and prizes for guests.

Leading up to the drop, a life-size figure of Watt was outfitted in Reebok gear and positioned around Houston landmarks earlier in the week.
The footwear is available via Reebok.com, at Academy stores and other select retailers for $99.
It’s Watt’s first signature shoe with the brand since the defensive star joined its stable of sponsored athletes last year.

“I’ve trained in many different shoes throughout my career, but there was never one that I felt was clearly the best shoe to get the job done,” Watt said in a statement. “So I decided to build one, and with the help of some great designers, I am proud to say that we have created the best training shoe I’ve ever worn. We spent over a year making sure that this shoe would perform at the highest level on any surface for any activity.”
