Reebok’s Latest CrossFit Shoe In Stores Now

CrossFitters everywhere now have a new Reebok shoe to choose from for their next WOD.

Reebok unveiled its CrossFit Nano 6.0, a new shoe to its renowned CrossFit-specific franchise, which is in stores now. The shoe retails for $130 in men’s and women’s sizes, and it can be picked up on reebok.com. It is also available on the website in kid’s sizes for $89.

The highlight of the latest edition to the franchise is Kevlar, which is featured on the shoe’s upper. The shoe boasts a 360 Degree abrasion protection Kevlar shell, which is paired with breathable mesh, designed to be both breathable and durable. Kevlar is also used on the medial side for better rope-climbing ability.

The shoe is also equipped with MetaSplit Expansion forefoot flex grooves on the outsole for an improved toe splay and stability, ideal for both heavy lifting and dynamic movement. It also features a thermo-polyurethane midsole protective wrap designed to improve the shoe’s stability, which is paired with R55 Rebound technology for responsive cushioning and impact absorption.

“Refining the Reebok CrossFit Nano 6.0 to be a shoe that moves with your foot throughout constantly varied CrossFit workouts was a fundamental objective of improvement that we wanted to achieve,” said Inga Stenta, senior director of brand management at Reebok, in a statement. “By speaking to and working with the CrossFit community, from coaches to elite athletes to everyday CrossFitters, we believe we have delivered a shoe that is going to give you the flexibility to maneuver the way any WOD demands.”

Reebok partnered with CrossFit in 2010, initially entering a 10-year agreement with the fitness company. Since joining forces, the brand has become the title sponsor of the CrossFit Games and has used the sport in a number of ads and marketing campaigns, including the March release of a video using a WOD to remove all soda from the brand’s Canton, Mass., headquarters.
