Hours after the Fenty Puma by Rihanna Creepers dropped at 10 a.m. EDT on Puma’s website and at various retailers, pairs have flooded eBay for twice the retail price.
The shoes, available in Green-Bordeaux, Black Satin and Basket Creeper Glo for both men and women, sold out Thursday on Puma.com less than an hour after they went live.
Most pairs on eBay are $200-$250, but there are some that are up to $350 — more than twice the original $140 retail price.
If you weren’t able to get your hands on a pair, this could be your best chance if you’re willing to pay up. Puma and Rihanna have not yet announced further releases of the Creepers or additional silhouettes.
Demand was so high for the sneakers that heavy traffic caused the Puma website to crash several times.
