Kith is one of the go-to stores for today’s style influencers. And thanks to Bergdorf Goodman, the retailer’s reach is about to expand.
The boutique announced Sept. 12 the upcoming opening of the Kith shop in Bergdorf Goodman’s longstanding Fifth Avenue storefront. The new shop — which will be unveiled during New York Fashion Week — will offer a Kith x Bergdorf Goodman co-branded collection as well as Kith originals.
“Ronnie Feig at Kith has created an innovative, and now legendary, place in the New York City retail landscape by focusing intently on his customers and their specific desires,” Bruce Pask, men’s fashion director at Bergdorf Goodman, said in a statement. “He creates a captivating store experience that draws a vast array of people to try out his latest limited-edition sneaker collab, indulge in a Kith treat or pick up a piece from his very in-demand Kith fashion line. He is a true trailblazer, and we are excited to partner with him to create a Kith shop at Goodman’s, where we are sure our customer will relish this unique vision.”

The shop — located on the third floor of the Fifth Avenue store — was designed in partnership with architectural agency Snarkitecture. According to Kith, the Bergdorf Goodman shop will boast a design that connects it with Kith’s three existing stores, which includes a housed casing of casted Air Jordan IV’s, herringbone marble walls and a custom Carrera marble bench.
“Kith was born and raised in New York, founded on a feeling of nostalgia. Being able to extend our offering with a retail institution as iconic as Bergdorf Goodman is truly an honor” Fieg, CEO and founder of Kith, said in a statement. “The opportunity to build a Kith shop within those walls after only five years of business is nothing short of a dream come true. I believe the future of retail lies within unique partnerships like this, and we could not be more excited to bring this shop to life.”
Kith’s six-piece, limited-edition apparel collection with Bergdorf Goodman — which starts at $75 — includes Kith’s Williams hoodie as well as a crewneck, a windbreaker, pants, a T-shirt and a wool cap. It also is the first time, according to Kith, that the Bergdorf Goodman logo will appear on the outside of a garment.
