Russell Westbrook Dances In Air Jordans And Makes Quirky Fashion Statement At NBA Playoffs

Russell Westbrook was defeated before he hit the court.

On Saturday in a loss against the San Antonio Spurs, the Oklahoma City Thunder baller scored only 14 points.

But it’s not his performance that stunned fans — it’s what he had on.

The athlete arrived for Game 1 wearing a quirky patchwork top, ripped jeans and brown high-top shoes that had fringe detailing around the ankle.

Horrified, Charles Barkley commented on TNT, “Oh, my God. What the hell? What the hell is that?”

Westbrook had on a denim Bachar Collection top that retails for $228.

He also incurred the wrath of Twitter.

“That Russell Westbrook outfit is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen,” an observer tweeted. “If Russell Westbrook didn’t wear that Walker Texas Ranger outfit the thunder wouldn’t be getting embarrassed right now,” wrote another fan.

During the game, he danced with teammates and rocked all-white Air Jordan XXX sneakers. The brand tweeted a supportive message for Westbrook and Spurs star Kawhi Leonard, and teased new XXX colorways, writing, “Round two 🔥 for @russwest44, @kawhileonard and L-🚂.”
