Twitter Reacts to the Seattle Seahawks’ Neon Nike Uniforms

On Thursday night, the Seattle Seahawks clinched the NFC West with their 24-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams, but that didn’t really seem to be the game’s dominating news story. The Seahawks wore Nike‘s Color Rush uniforms, which the brand introduced in 2015, and the Seahawks’ bright green ones had people talking.

Nike created the monochromatic uniforms for all 32 NFL teams as a charitable initiative: All proceeds from the sale of Color Rush jerseys go to the NFL Foundation to fund health, safety and wellness programs for youth around the U.S.

The uniforms were certainly hard to miss, and Twitter users were buzzing about them. Some compared the uniforms to reflective construction vests, highlighters and even a few TV characters.
