Stephen Curry is having one of the greatest regular seasons in NBA history. The Golden State Warriors guard set another 3-point record and dropped 51 points Thursday night on the Orlando Magic.
The Under Armour-sponsored athlete passed sharpshooter Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks for the most consecutive games hitting a 3-pointer. Curry was 10-of-15 from 3-point range, extending his consecutive games streak to 128. And for the third time this season Curry scored at least 50 points; the last players to score 50 or more points in a game in the regular season were LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, who accomplished the feat in the 2008-09 season.
On the feet of Curry during his spectacular performance against the Eastern Conference opponent Thursday was the “Haight Street” iteration of his latest Under Armour signature shoe, the Curry Two. The “Haight Street” edition, featuring an electric blue, navy and white color palette, was released on Jan. 16 and retails for $130.
