News broke in December of NBA superstar LeBron James signing a lifetime contract with athletic behemoth Nike. Today, James’ business partner Maverick Carter made headlines when GQ published its interview with him where he revealed James’ deal with the brand was worth more than $1 billion.

James Gifts Shoes To Special Olympian

While on the road at the TD Garden in Boston to face the Celtics on Dec. 15, 2015, James gave his game-worn shoes to 16-year-old Aaron Miller, a Special Olympic athlete and Celtics’ “Hero of the Game” who won the MVP award at a recent local Special Olympics competition. James was wearing the recently released Nike LeBron 13 Opening Night, boasting a cool gray and wolf gray upper with a deep garnet midsole and an icy translucent outsole.

James’ First 37-Point Game Of The Season

James scored a season-high 37 points on three separate occasions throughout the 2015-16 campaign. His first was on Nov. 14 against the Milwaukee Bucks on the road at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee. James scored the 37 points on 13-of-17 shooting. The shoe of choice for the game was a white, navy and burgundy iteration of the Nike LeBron 13.

Cavaliers Clinch Playoff Spot Against The Orlando Magic

Cleveland is in the Eastern Conference playoffs, which became possible with the team’s 109-103 win on the road over the Orlando Magic on March 18 at the Amway Center in Orlando. James scored 18 points in a black and silver with gum outsole iteration of the Nike LeBron 13.

James’ First Triple-Double Of The Season

The forward recorded his first triple-double of the season on Feb. 8 against the Sacramento Kings at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland during a 120-100 Cavaliers win. James scored 21 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 10 assists in a red, black and white colorway of the Nike LeBron 13.

James Slays The Knicks In Horror Movie-Themed Shoes

Arguably one of the best colorways of the Nike LeBron 13 is the “Horror Flick,” featuring red speckles reminiscent of splattered blood on the midsole, using a white, black and red color palette. James wore the shoes on the road against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in November — on Friday the 13th — dropping 31 points in the win.
