Under Armour Unveils Curry Two ‘Red, White & Blue’

While Stephen Curry is leading his Golden State Warriors through the NBA Western Conference Finals with their eyes on a second-straight NBA title, Under Armour is releasing new iterations of his second signature shoe with the brand, the Curry Two. The next release has a bit of a patriotic feel.

The Under Armour Curry Two “Red, White & Blue” drops Saturday and will retail for $130.

The shoe features a red, white and blue color palette, with an upper dominated by white with blue and red highlights. The midsole is predominantly blue, but also features a portion that is blue with white speckles, as well as red highlights in the forefoot and toward the heel.

The next iteration of the shoe to hit stores is “Gold Rings,” which is scheduled for a June 4 release. The last iteration was the “Mother’s Day,” which arrived on May 6.

The Curry Two is the first basketball shoe for the brand to use a full-length Charged Cushioning midsole and a UA SpeedForm seamless upper. In September, Curry stated he used the then-unreleased shoe throughout his summer workouts. “The first time I put my foot in the Curry Two,” he said, “I knew having Charged Cushioning through the whole shoe would be a performance difference-maker.”

Curry and the Warriors are down 2-1 in the best-of-seven series to the Oklahoma City Thunder, with Game 4 taking place Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
