Under Armour & Nike To Release Easter-Themed Basketball Sneakers

You’re supposed to dress nice to celebrate Easter with your family, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a pair of fresh, new kicks on your feet. Thanks to Under Armour and Nike, this is possible.

Both athletic brands are slated to release special colorways of its latest and greatest signature shoes for NBA superstars Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving and Kobe Bryant. The shoes are set to arrive in stores Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, Nike will release the Kyrie 2 – named “Spring Pastels” – in a predominantly while colorway loaded with colors synonymous with the season, including a purple outsole, teal Swoosh branding on the midsole and strap, and a multicolor pattern on the heel. The brand will also release the “Season Statement” iteration of the Kobe 11, the last on-court signature shoe for Bryant. The shoe’s upper features a black to orange color gradient, with a black translucent outsole.

Under Armour’s Easter offering, a new iteration of the Curry Two mid, only available for kids, will hit stores on Saturday. The shoe is predominantly gray, with the color occupying much of the upper. The brand uses mint to represent the holiday on the shoe’s midsole and its lining, and adds gold accents in the UA branding on the upper. It is completed with a white outsole.
