U.S. Women’s Gymnastics Team Steps Out In Nike, Under Armour & Reebok

Following their incredibly successful run at the Rio Olympics, the U.S. women’s gymnastics team has been making lots of celebratory TV and radio appearances.

Gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez — who dubbed themselves the “Final Five” to honor U.S. gymnastics team coordinator Martha Karolyi’s final year in the role — have been making the rounds in New York, visiting “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and the “Today” show.

The women also took a trip to the top of the Empire State Building, checking out the views and posing for photographers. During the Olympics, the team wore Under Armour leotards and Nike apparel and shoes for warmups and on the medal stand.

But since the games ended, the gymnasts have all seemed to go their own way when it comes to footwear. Although Nike was the official sponsor of the Olympics, Under Armour won big when its logo took center stage during competition.

During their press tour, Kocian and Hernandez were wearing Under Armour’s Charged Core sneakers, which retail for $90. Douglas and Biles wore Nike — Biles went with the all-white Air Presto, and Douglas chose the Air Pegasus in patriotic colors — and Aly Raisman went with white and neon yellow Reeboks.

Next up for the women is the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, which will take them across the U.S. to perform and celebrate their Olympic medals.
