Vans & Positive Vibe Warriors Foundation Launch Partnership

Vans is sending out feel-good vibes this summer.

The Cypress, Calif.-based label, owned by VF Corp., plans to partner with Positive Vibe Warriors, a foundation created by brothers Pat, Dane and Tanner Gudauskas.

The San Clemente, Calif.-based nonprofit aims to show young people the benefits of ocean safety awareness.

The two organizations will release a collection of shoes, apparel and accessories that embodies “the true spirit and ideals of Positive Vibe Warriors,” according to a joint statement released Monday.

“The ocean is an infinite source of creativity, joy and learning,” said Dane Gudauskas. “It has been a powerful influence in our lives, and we want to inspire the next generation to continue to enjoy the ocean’s power in a positive and safe way.”

The collection, available at Vans.com, features custom graphics designed by the Gudauskas brothers, as well as a color palette that pays tribute to oceans and tide pools.

In the fall, the two will go a step further. To raise funds, Vans and the foundation will host local surfing events, swim lessons, ocean awareness programs and lifeguard workshops.
