Although Von Miller had arguably his best performance on the game’s biggest stage, the Super Bowl, his play on the field has been revered for years. His dominance on the gridiron earned the linebacker the opportunity to be the face of Adidas‘ Freak franchise.
The brand announced that Miller, the Super Bowl 50 MVP, will be featured in its marketing initiatives this year surrounding its Freak franchise and will also help the brand develop its Freak cleats, apparel and accessories.
Miller, the product of Texas A&M who just completed his fifth season in the NFL with the Denver Broncos, was a vital member of the team’s defense, which was ranked No. 1 in the league this season. The four-time Pro Bowl-selected linebacker had 11 sacks and 4 forced fumbles this season. During the play-offs, Miller had 5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, including one in the first half of the Super Bowl on Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton that led to a defensive touchdown.
