‘Damn Daniel’ Stars Donate Vans Sneakers To California Children’s Hospital

The viral sensations behind “Damn Daniel” are putting their overnight success to good use. Teens Daniel Lara and Josh Holz visited a California children’s hospital on Thursday to give away free Vans to patients.

For those not familiar with “Damn Daniel,” the Snapchat series that has exploded on social media features Holz commenting on Lara’s fashions over a few weeks with the same exclamation: “Damn Daniel.” The sneakers called out in the video? Lara’s white Vans. The now-trending catchphrase “Back at it again with the white Vans” made its way to celebrity Instagrams and brand ad campaigns, resulting in the creators being invited to “The Ellen Show.”

While there, Holz and Lara spent time with patients, signed autographs and personally delivered Vans sneakers to their fans.
