King & Stone Men’s Shoes Offers Online Subscription Service

Fall fashions are already hitting stores. So for guys who prefer watching football on the weekends over navigating through mall crowds searching for a new pair of shoes, e-tailer King & Stone will deliver them right to your door.

Launched late last year through a Kickstarter campaign, the Temecula, Calif.-based company follows a subscription-based retail platform that allows consumers to seamlessly order new shoes each season with the click of a mouse.

Four times a year, King & Stone presents subscribers with a curated selection of styles. The shoes, said company co-founder Shaun Rosenstein, home in on seasonal trends that can take guys from the workplace to happy hour.

The company delivers four pairs each year — one each season — for a monthly subscription rate of $25. When a new season begins, subscribers simply pick the style they want and place their order.

“We make it easy for people to look great all year long,” said Rosenstein, who has noticed men often neglect replacing footwear. “Guys wear their shoes longer than they should.”

After an initial registration online, consumers can simply return each season to place a new order. Seasonal looks are previewed several weeks before orders can be placed, with an email reminder to customers when ordering officially begins. And, said Rosenstein, customers can put their subscriptions on hold at any time.

All shipping costs and taxes are included in the subscription fee. The first pair of shoes from the current season will arrive within 10 business days of subscribing, with additional deliveries every three months. The fall collection will deliver to customers on Sept. 15.
