Havaianas is making a splash at Disney parks.
The Brazilian flip-flop brand, which has been the official flip-flop of Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort for the past year, has opened three branded locations inside the parks. Customers can shop Disney-themed Havaianas flip-flops, as well as the brand’s core and fashion styles at shops in the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks in Walt Disney World, and at California Adventure in Disneyland.
Some of the Disney-themed offerings include “Beauty and the Beast,” “Cinderella,” “Snow White” and Mickey Mouse flip-flops for both adults and kids.
Havaianas and Walt Disney Imagineering collaborated on the design of the stores.
“We are constantly looking at ways to delight our guests through the assortment of merchandise we offer as tangible memories of the time guests spend with us,” said Kenny Funk, Disney’s vice president of merchandise. “The combination of the Havaianas brand and Disney’s magical merchandise makes for an appealing combination for our guests.”
