Camuto Group Expands 1.State Brand With Footwear Launch

Contemporary women’s sportswear brand 1.State has launched its first footwear collection after teaming up with Camuto Group.

The spring 2017 shoe line will feature minimalist, feminine styles in addition to sleek treatments such as metallic soles, elevated flat forms and fashion-forward toe characters.

Prices range from $89 to $150, and buyers will preview the looks next week at FFANY. The apparel collection is available at Nordstrom as well as other select retailers and specialty stores.

Camuto Group chairman and chief executive officer Alex Del Cielo told Footwear News that there are more developments in the works.

“Our vision is to continue to expand the brand offering into new categories with footwear as a core growth vehicle,” Del Cielo explained. “The launch of 1.State footwear is the first step in our strategic expansion of brands through our partnership with Bernard Chaus Inc. The brand is experiencing a strong growth trajectory and we are excited to launch footwear that reflects the contemporary sportswear collection.”
