Rebecca Minkoff has added a touch of rock ‘n’ roll edge in a new collaboration with Minnetonka Moccasin Company.
Minnetonka’s classic suede and fringe styles are fused with metallic studs, rivets and lacing treatments in the collection inspired by the music festival season. The footwear will be available in June at Rebecca Minkoff stores, online and at select retailers.

Lace-up knee-high boots, fringe booties and the classic Kilty moccasin with studs are among the silhouettes.
Rebecca Minkoff x Minnetonka is available in cream, almond, black and gray, and prices range from $98 to $245.

Speaking to Footwear News, Minkoff said the partnership was organic because she’s already “loyal” to Minnetonka in her personal life. “I’ve been wearing them for years for their style and comfort,” Minkoff explained. “Basically, I love anything that could work in my daily life, but also at a music festival.”
After a discussion with Minnetonka CEO David Miller, Minkoff said they “really wanted to create something unique that blended both of our brand aesthetics together for our customers. I was already a fan of theirs so I just incorporated a couple of touchs of rock ’n’ roll.”

Miller described the collaboration in a statement as a “natural fit” because both labels have a similar aesthetic. “The end result is a classic Minnetonka moccasin mixed with a modernized Rebecca Minkoff twist,” he added.
