Giuseppe Zanotti has revealed his latest celebrity collaborator: Zayn Malik.
The former One Direction group member has been enjoying a skyrocketing solo career, topping charts all over the world with his latest album, “Mind of Mine.” Malik has also made headlines thanks to his romance with top model Gigi Hadid.
Aside from Malik’s collection of tour merchandise in conjunction with his album, this is his first foray into fashion. The Giuseppe x Zayn collection will include four styles and is slated for a January launch. Malik previewed the collection in the September issue of GQ, telling the magazine he and Zanotti met at Paris Fashion Week last year.
“Style is not being afraid to be bold about some things, or to say what it is you have to say,” he said. “I feel like Giuseppe does that with his collection — and I try to do that with my music. So it kind of works.”

The collection includes suede desert boots with zipper detailing, a Zanotti signature.
The singer is a fan of other edgy designers such as Alexander Wang, whose sneakers and boots Malik has been spotted wearing in New York.
Zanotti recently announced another collab with a high-profile celebrity. The Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez collection is also set for an early 2017 launch and includes crystal-encrusted booties, embellished wedge sneakers and gladiators in a snakeskin printed leather. Zanotti made a pair of custom wedding shoes for singer Ciara’s recent wedding to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
