How to Get Mita Sneakers’ Adidas Consortium Collaboration

After an exclusive launch through Mita Sneakers on Oct. 1, the Tokyo-based sneaker retailer’s Adidas Consortium Tour collaboration is getting a worldwide launch this weekend.

The Mita Sneakers x Adidas Consortium Seeulater reimagines a mid-1990s hiking shoe from the Adidas Originals archives. With a cult-like following in Mita Sneakers’ stomping grounds of Japan, the Seeulater is rugged and ready to withstand the elements outdoors.

For this particular collaboration, Mita Sneakers looked back to the era that birthed the Adidas Seeulater, a time when Tokyo’s Ame-yoko Street was lined with shops that sold specialty gear for mountain climbing and skiing. This meant that the street’s windows were filled with jackets and clothing that radiated with vibrant colors, shades which helped inspire the color palette on this collaborative Seeulater.
