Kim Kardashian West has been sporting a 20-carat diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz — a new gift from husband Kanye West. Thanks to Adidas, Kardashian West revealed how the athletic giant played a role in the extravagant gift.
While speaking onstage at The Girls’ Lounge dinner during Advertising Week 2016 in New York City on Tuesday, the reality star spoke to moderator Andy Cohen on how she was surprised with a Lorraine Schwartz box on her pillow one morning from her husband.
“He was like, ‘Well, you know I just did that big Adidas deal, so I got you something from Adidas,’ “ she explained.
According to Kardashian West, the hip-hop star actually engraved “Adidas” on the band inside of the massive diamond ring,“because he’s funny like that.”
In June, West expanded his partnership with the Germany-based company to launch Adidas + Kanye West, a Yeezy-branded entity creating footwear, apparel and accessories for all genders across street and sport.

Under the new partnership, the West-designed Yeezy products for Adidas Originals, which includes the Yeezy Boost 350 v2, are to extend beyond its current lifestyle focus to feature performance, thus “offering options for both sport and street,” according to the brand.
Adidas called the new alliance unprecedented and referred to it as “the most significant partnership ever created between a nonathlete and an athletic brand.”
Kardashian West talked more about West and how he has taught her to be authentic.
“My husband has definitely taught me to just be [my most] authentic self and not care what other people think. I think I was a people-pleaser before,” she said onstage.
