Socks and sandals is a trend that just won’t die. It’s a look we saw throughout the men’s shows in Milan this week. Versace did it, Prada did it. MSGM continued the normcore look with Velcro sandals, which were paired with white tube socks with the MSGM logo emblazoned on the back.

The sandals came in bright colors, very similar to Prada last night, though they were done in more techy athletic materials here. Destroyed sneakers also made up much of the collection, with low-top court sneakers having frayed edges and sides ripped with holes. It’s as though designers get so bored they feel the need to start ripping things apart.

Clashing things together must have been a theme for Massimo Giorgetti this season, though. Though the socks and sandals may scream “dad,” the total look said angsty teen.
