Tom Ford has officially jumped ship to an in-season show model with a starry dinner and presentation at the landmark Seagrams building on Wednesday. In a savvy, clicked-in move, the collection became available online and in select stores immediately following the festivities — attended by the likes of Cindy Crawford, Iman and Lauren Hutton plus new-gen Ford muses Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik, Rita Ora, Hailee Steinfeld and Karlie Kloss.
Notable guests were all dressed by the designer, with Ora, Rita Wilson, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Malik, Kloss, Joel Edgerton, Ellie Bamber and Karl Glusman wearing the label from head to spiffy toe.
Shoppable shoe standouts included an inverted wedge multibuckle sandle (also offered as a thigh-high), signature cage heels updated in velvet, the Pure Line pointed toe stiletto boot done in leopard calfhair and as a woven construction, cut-out pumps in metallic exotics and a striking pleated-wrap sandal with a gold bolt piercing the cylindrical heel.
