The shoes: High-throat pointed pumps came in glossy leathers, some in subtle metallics, with toe capping and thick stacked heels.

The verdict: Though footwear appeared to be sturdy and had a sharp profile, a few models did slip and nearly fall down. Maybe the runway surface, like the Sander DNA on display on the runway, could have used a bit less slickness.
