The Mood: The collection was entitled Interlude, social media was verboten “Just clothes. Enjoy!” urged show notes. Street eclecticism prevailed.
The Shoes: Tall boots splashed with ‘Interlude’ in block capitals up the leg and bulky combat boots were the more aggressive messages. But designer Massimo Giorgetti also added some softer takes on street via velvet (either crushed or floral print) boots with chunky heels.
The Verdict: Big foot. The loud and oversize proportions of ready-to-wear demanded equally outsize shoes. But on model’s size 40 feet, the look skewed clownish at times.
