The mood: Stripes and low-fi color graphics, right down to the no-television-signal graphics wallpapering the runway space.
The shoes: Those same trippy, headache-inducing prints also decorated designer Massimiliano Giornett’s shoes creations. Round-toe t-strap pumps came blanketed with fur on the upper and leather striping on block heels. Elsewhere there were stripe-panelled suede boots and sports sandals lined in mink.
The verdict: Snoozy Sunday. With all the wild color at play, this collection did little to arrest. Sure, the apparel has never been groundbreaking, but the history of the house dictates that their footwear should lead the way.
