One way to stand out from the rest of the shoes at Milan Fashion Week: glow in the dark.
For No. 21‘s spring ’17 collection, designer Alessandro Dell ‘Acqua applied reflective tape to pumps and flatforms for a collection that fused sport with glamour — and even elements of the folkloric.

On tech-some stiletto pumps (a high- and kitten-heel version) and chunky sneaker-soled sandals, the tape formed neat bows at the pointed toe. Conventional strapping was switched out for colorful bungee-cording.
Under the camera’s flash and the start of nightfall, they certainly did light the way.
