It’s hard to get between a girl and her Nikes, even when she’s wearing a dress. Case in point: Ciara‘s Instagram photoshoot set in China, in which she’s rocking a striking blue satin Mandarin collar dress teamed with 2-inch platform Nike sneakers.
In a series of three shots the “1, 2 Step” songstress shared on Thursday, she models a silky vibrant blue Chinese dress featuring embroidery throughout and a thigh-high slit. The first snap, which appears on her grid, shows a close-up view of Ciara looking at the camera and showing off a huge diamond ring from husband, Russell Wilson.
The next photo gives the mom of two’s 18.5 million followers a full-length look at her outfit, which included Nike’s dramatic Vandal 2K silhouette in a coordinating color blue. The red-soled sneaker, which retailed for $120 but is sold out on Nike.com, popped against her traditional dress. Below, a similar style.

Ciara has been in China for the past week on a tour with her Seattle Seahawks quarterback husband and her two children, 4-year-old son Future (whose father is rapper Future) and daughter Sienna, 1. On the Fourth of July, the Grammy award-winning artist shared a sweet video of her son and daughter wearing Chinese outfits.
