Pharrell Has 2 New Adidas Boost Sneakers Releasing Friday, Predicted to Sell Out Instantly

Pharrell Williams and Adidas are back with another collaborative sneaker collection on Friday, and it should prove to be no less successful than their past launches. Following his many NMD Hu sneakers that sell out in seconds, this new two-colorway set of the Crazy BYW LVL X is predicted to follow suit.

Dubbed the “Ambition” collection, the basketball-inspired silhouette arrives in two black and pink colorways.

The striking sneaker is part of Adidas’ Boost You Wear (BYW) line, featuring modernized, Boost-cushioned takes on the brand’s classic basketball models with Feet You Wear technology from the late 1990s. The series utilized organically shaped outsoles designed to act essentially as an extension of the wearer’s foot to reproduce natural movement and flexibility. The same wavy lines of the original Feet You Wear tech are reproduced on this sneaker, which takes inspiration from the Real Deal basketball shoe from 1997. The Primeknit upper replicates the sweeping toe stripes found on the vintage hoops foowear.

Each in a black, pink and white color palette, the two upcoming sneakers are emblazoned with “Ambition” across the top of the foot — just like the signature bold text that runs across all of the music and style icon’s NMD Hu sneakers.
