The Wild Pyer Moss x Reebok Sneaker Is Releasing in All-Black

After debuting its wild sneaker in a pristine white colorway in March, the Pyer Moss x Reebok DMX Fusion Experiment goes reverse this summer in a blacked-out look.

The unique design by the avant-garde high-fashion house appeared this year just in time to join the chunky-sneaker trend, but it managed to stand out from the rest of the pack of puffy silhouettes with its eye-catching lacing system. It features a series of various laces and lace locks that link together and can also be switched up for seemingly limitless possibilities of customization by the wearer.

Apart from the bold lacing, the DMX Fusion Experiment by Pyer Moss is built atop the retro DMX Run 10, a 1997 running shoe that introduced Reebok’s new cushioning system that utilizes chambers of air that connect throughout the sole. The vintage design is reimagined for the modern age with the fashion label’s unique take on streetwear, built with a socklike stretchy woven material for the upper that gets even more futuristic-looking with the lacing.

This latest colorway of the shoe features an entirely black presentation, except for white detailing for the lace loops at the midfoot and cable at the heel, as well as the branding text on the tongue.
