Michael Jordan’s Unreleased Sneakers From ‘The Last Dance’ Are Dropping Soon

Basketball and sneaker fans alike were treated to something special this year when ESPN’s “The Last Dance,” the 10-part documentary highlighting NBA legend Michael Jordan‘s final championship season with the Chicago Bulls, finally aired in April. The series not only reflected on MJ’s dominance on the basketball court but also foreshadowed a new sneaker release from Jordan Brand.

The brand has confirmed this week on the SNKRS app that the new Air Jordan 1 Centre Court is making its debut this month, a new version of Jordan’s first signature basketball shoe that was previewed in the documentary. The shoe’s product description reveals that this silhouette combines vintage Jordan design elements with details featured on classic tennis shoes.

The look is executed with a clean all-white palette featuring a low-cut premium leather upper with matching shoelaces and wings-inspired overlays on the heel counter. Adding contrast are gray hits at the tongue and heel tab both debossed with Jordan Brand’s signature branding. The look continues with the Jordan 1’s classic midsole and outsole underneath.

The Air Jordan 1 Centre Court “White on White” will be released on Dec. 21 via SNKRS at 10 a.m. ET and at select Jordan Brand retailers. The shoe will come with a $135 price tag.
