Jordan Brand confirmed the release date and price point for the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 on the Nike News site this weekend. The deconstructed creation hits shelves on July 25 with a retail price of $200; the sneakers will drop on Nike.com as well as the SNKRS app.

The women’s sneaker comes in a “Sail” colorway and features both brands’ signature hang tags with muslin, white and black accents; the iteration blends together nubuck uppers with transparent rubber caging and Off-White’s Helvetica font across the laces and midsole. An exposed Air unit in the midsole provides a cushioned step as exposed foam on the collar continues the broken-down appeal of the iteration. Topped off with a translucent panel across the heel, the heritage silhouette steps into modern light in what is sure to be a sell-out hit like designer Virgil Abloh’s previous Nike and Air Jordan collaborations.

Virgil Abloh snuck the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 into the runway show for his brand’s ready-to-wear fall ’20 collection in Paris back in February. Paired to everything from flowing silhouettes to daring cut-out pieces, the sneakers were hard to miss on the French catwalk.

The first leak of information about the highly anticipated style’s release date came just a day after its debut on the catwalk, according to Instagram user @py_rates_; the sneaker-focused account shared a post on February 27 announcing that the style was reportedly set to drop in late summer with styles coming in women’s sizing with an expected retail price of $200.

This newest sneaker is the latest in a series of collaborations for Abloh. The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 was the most recent release, dropping on Feb. 15 via the SNKRS app and retailing originally for $225.

Sneaker leak account @wavegod_thelegend then shared on Instagram in March a supposed third colorway of the Off-White x Air Jordan 5, writing in the caption that they are coming soon; the latest colorway appears to take cues from the model’s classic iteration in “Grape.” The initial black-based colorway of the collab made its debut as part of this year’s 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend, which took place in Abloh’s hometown of Chicago and was inspired by the original “Black Metallic” color scheme — the first Jordan sneaker the designer ever owned.

“During the ’90s, I was the kid watching Jordan on TV, and I never thought I would be able to do one of his shoes, let alone add anything to them,” Abloh said in a statement for the Off-White x Air Jordan 5. “MJ was a man who became a superhero. He was jumping from the free-throw line, winning six championships, doing the impossible. In design, I feel like I’m at my best if I can almost mirror how impossible those tasks were.”
