Wear your heart on your shoes this Valentine’s Day thanks to Dr. Martens.
The footwear brand has launched a heart collection ahead of the most romantic day of the year, which includes the beloved 1461 shoe. Renamed 1461 Hearts, Dr. Martens combined their signature Smooth and Patent Lamper Leathers to create a new look.
The 1461 Hearts comes in all-black or a white and black finish and features heart accents at the backstrap, eyelets and rivets. The shoe is finished with a heart deboss welt detail. The style is complete with a rugged outsole featuring yellow welt stitching. The shoe retails for $130 at DrMartens.com.
Later this month, the brand will release the Devon Heart boot as part of the Hearts Collection. The boot features two straps across the upper that are equipped with heart-shaped buckles. The Devon Heart is stacked on a 1.5-inch Quad sole and is built from what the brand calls “Aunt Sally” leather. The boot also features padded quarters and a padded tongue. Like the 1461 Hearts, the Devon Heart is finished with yellow stitching and a black yellow heel loop.
Dr. Martens has not yet announced when the Devon Heart will be available on the site.

In addition to the new collection, Dr. Martens is currently offering a plethora of discount opportunities on a number of beloved styles. The 1460 Pascal Women’s Wanama Leather Boot is currently on sale for $96 (originally $160) and the brand’s Graeme II Men’s Arcadia Leather Chelsea Boot is now $75 (originally $150).
It’s no secret that Dr. Martens shoes are a must-have. The brand has been sported by celebrities like Bella and Gigi Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Gwen Stefani and more. The shoes are also perfect for kids, as demonstrated by Kamala Harris’ grandnieces at the 2021 presidential inauguration last month. Meena Harris — the daughter of the vice president’s sister Maya — shared a sweet photo on Instagram and Twitter of her daughters, Amara and Leela, wearing matching animal-print fur coats. Amara and Leela finalized their inauguration looks in shiny lace-up boots from Dr. Martens. The shoes feature coated leather uppers with a PVC sole.
