Weyco Reports 4Q, Full-Year 2014 Results

Weyco Group Inc., the footwear company behind major brands Florsheim, Nunn Bush, Stacy Adams and Bogs, today announced its financial results for the quarter and the year ended Dec. 31, 2014.

The company, which acquired The Combs Co. (Bogs) in 2011, beat analysts’ estimates ($83.5 million), reporting net sales of $95.3 million in the fourth quarter, a 21 percent jump from 2013, when net sales were $78.5 million.

Net earnings attributable to the company were $8.1 million in the fourth quarter, compared with $6.8 million in 2013, an increase of 19 percent.

Diluted earnings per share are also up, to $0.75 in the fourth quarter, compared with $0.62 per share in the same quarter of 2013.

Overall net sales in 2014 rose 7 percent, to $320.5 million, compared with 2013 net sales of $300.3 million. Diluted earnings per share are also up, to $1.75 from $1.62 per share in 2013.

At market close, Weyco’s stock was up 3.9 percent, to 27.99.
