Aquatalia Debuts Men’s Line

Women’s lifestyle brand Aquatalia, owned by Global Brands in New York, is adding men’s footwear to the mix for fall ’15. Previously, the company offered a men’s line from 1998 to 2002.

The fall ’15 collection offers a wardrobe of weatherproof looks made in Italy, including wingtips and athletic-inspired styles that retail from $395 to $595 and chukkas and Chelsea boots for $425 to $675. Features include proprietary rubber soles for added traction in wet weather and dual-density footbeds for shock absorption.

“Aquatalia is and has always been about functional luxury,” said Jim Gabriel, president of the footwear division of Global Brands. “With this new launch, we have the opportunity to address a void in the men’s market for handcrafted, weatherproof footwear made in Italy.”

The line is targeted at high-end independents and department stores, with delivery slated for July.
