Furla Opens New York Flagship

Italian accessories brand Furla has opened a New York flagship at 51st Street and Fifth Avenue. The opening is part of Furla’s plans to increase the number of its directly operated retail locations and re-establish itself in the U.S. The brand used to have a store on New York’s Madison Avenue, but it closed several years ago.

“Fifth Avenue is renowned in New York City as one of the most prestigious shopping districts in America — and the world,” said Furla CEO Eraldo Poletto in a statement. “We felt it was important to ground the Furla brand with a beautiful flagship in this prime location in order to maximize the brand’s footprint in the U.S. market.”

To celebrate the store’s opening, Furla is releasing a limited-edition Fifth Avenue line of bags, small leather goods and accessories featuring New York-inspired details.
