Harrys of London Plans Middle East Expansion

Ahead of expansion in the Middle East, which will see the brand open stores in Doha, Jeddah and Abu Dhabi in the next nine months, and New York by the end of the year, Harrys of London launched its first leather bags and luggage collection at London Collections: Men. These echoed the brand’s practical embrace of technology.

There were wheelie bags in rubberized calf’s leather or textured calf that unzip via matte black solid brass hardware to flatten completely. Overnight bags and roomy briefcases came in leather faced with gel padding to provide protection for the multitude of tech gadgets that men tote.

Footwear options ranged from lace-up boots in shades of burgundy and cognac, black and brown, to monk-straps and classic brogues. The James loafer – a classic penny loafer style in hand-polished calf’s leather and textured calf’s leather – came with a windsurfing-inspired sole created in collaboration with Vibram makes them slip-proof and mark-proof.
