Winifred Sanderson is back — and there was hell to pay at the Hulaween gala in New York City on Friday.
Bette Midler revived her iconic villain character from 1993’s “Hocus Pocus” as she feted guests at the annual soiree that benefits the New York Restoration Project.

Still, the most bewitching transformation of the night was that of Marc Jacobs, who dressed as a female bodybuilder.
The designer had on a figure-enhancing bodysuit and light blue bikini that he teamed with a pair of black patent leather Christian Louboutin stilettos.

Though he later moaned that his feet were in agony during the bash, he appeared to be pleased with his overall look, sharing several photos and videos on Instagram while still in the getup after the festivities concluded.
“When your eyebrows keep melting, your scrunchie comes unscrunched, your lace front adhesive loses its grip, your lip gloss and glitter turns to paste, your feet really hate Christian Louboutin and your man is passed out from exhaustion but you just can’t let go — yet!” he shared.

Jacobs served as the costume contest judge, and celebrated alongside boyfriend Charlie DeFrancesco, who had on a male version of his outfit.
Kathy Griffin dressed as her own Snapchat account and served as the night’s emcee, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Darlene Love entertained guests with a performance.
