Blumarine continues to expand its accessories business.
The brand’s parent company Blufin said Friday it has signed a five-year licensing agreement with footwear manufacturer Calzaturificio Rodolfo Zengarini for the production and worldwide distribution of Blumarine Shoes, previously manufactured in-house. This agreement follows the announcement a day earlier of a license with La Compagnia delle Pelli for Blumarine Handbags.
The collaboration between the fashion house and the shoemaker based in the Marche region started with the fall ’16 season and will enable Blumarine to expand its distribution network.
“This agreement plays a strategic role in the evolution of Blumarine and represents a further step in the creation of our label’s brand equity,” said Blufin sole administrator Gianguido Tarabini. “I think this is the ideal partner for the development of an high-quality project, coherent with our fashion house’s values.”
