Aussie brand Blundstone, known for its signature Chelsea boots, has announced its participation in the Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF) and its official sponsorship of “Ithaca,” Meg Ryan’s directorial debut. Held in the wine region of Sonoma, Calif., from Wednesday through April 3, the festival will celebrate its 19th anniversary.
“Ithaca” will be previewed Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the marquee Sebastiani Theatre. The film stars Ryan along with Jack Quaid, Sam Shepard, Hamish Linklater and Alex Neustaedter. Following the screening, Ryan will participate in a Q&A session followed by a VIP reception at the Ledson Hotel.
The sponsorship is part of Blundstone’s ongoing relationship with the film industry that includes its recent sponsorship of the Hollywood Reporter Lounge at Sundance and its upcoming and continued sponsorship at the Hamptons International Film Festival.

The film festival is presented by the Sonoma Valley Film Society, which is dedicated to promoting independent film and supporting filmmakers around the world.
