Boston-based sneaker retailer Concepts has a new collaboration on the way with Adidas Originals.
After collaborating on a woven version of the iconic Stan Smith in 2014, the two parties have joined forces again for a two-sneaker set that’s part modern, part old-school.

Officially named the Adidas EQT Support 93/16, this collaboration combines the upper of the Adidas Originals EQT Support 93 retro sneaker with the cushioning of the Ultra Boost running shoe. For the sake of simplicity, Concepts is calling it the Ultra Boost EQT.
The two colorways in this collection are inspired by famous criminal heists throughout history; the sage green style takes a page from 1990’s $500 million theft at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, while the black-based makeup is a nod to 1978’s Lufthansa heist at John F. Kennedy International Airport, which was famously depicted in the 1990 film GoodFellas.
