‘Fifty Shades’ Trilogy All Set to Be Filmed & Shoe Highlights From the Stars

You may want to invest in that fetish footwear after all. The other two “Fifty Shades of Grey” books are all set to become movies.

Fifty Shades Darker and “Fifty Shades Freer,” sequels to “Grey,” are lined up for filming, director Sam Taylor Johnson confirmed Friday. Johnson made the announcement during a fan film screening at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York with stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, according to reports by MTV.

The first book in E.L. James’ trilogy, “Fifty Shades of Grey,” is released this Friday and has been one steamroller of hype. From a “Fifty Shades”-themed $89 teddy bear to soundtrack releases almost weekly, there’s a lot of tidbits to get fans excited.

We’re just ready for the movie to be released already. We’ve seen the S&M explicit music video “Earned It” by The Weeknd starring Dakota Johnson. There’s also been plenty of buzz surrounding Johnson and her co-star Dornan on the red carpet during awards season. There’s also no shortage of great shoe moments to capture. (Namely Johnson’s killer Jimmy Choo heels at the Golden Globes.)

Last month Jamie Dornan, who stars as Christian Grey, in the film gave a long interview to “Variety” about the steamy film. He told Variety, “They were privy to everything, just not my manhood.” In the Variety feature, Dornan also said, “This kind of sex — S&M — hasn’t been depicted on the big screen ever. That, in itself, is groundbreaking.”

Just four days to go if you can really wait that long.
