It is no surprise that Stacey Bendet has quite the impressive shoe collection. In fact, the Alice + Olivia designer has too many pairs to count.
From Alexander McQueen to Prada, the mix is major.
This year, the brand announced a deal with Schwartz & Benjamin as a licensing partner to oversee design, production and sales for Alice + Olivia footwear.
Here, Bendet joins a roster of designers to share her closet secrets for the FN 3.
1. How many pairs do you personally own?
“Hundreds. I have never counted. I love all of our Alice + Olivia shoes, but I also have some amazing old Alaia, McQueen and Louis Vuitton pairs with super-high heels. Prada shoes are so comfortable, and I definitely have a mini YSL collection, too.”
2. Heels or flats?

“Heels — always! I am small and I need the height. It is also such a bell-bottom and wide-leg-pant moment, and those always look better with a heel to elongate the leg.”
3. If you were a shoe, what shoe would you be?
“A thigh-high boot.”
