Hudson’s Bay CEO Jerry Storch Receives Father’s Day Award

Hudson’s Bay Co. CEO Jerry Storch will take home a big honor this June. He is the latest to be named Father of the Year by the National Father’s Day Council.

Storch, who has been with HBC since January 2015 and previously held executive roles at Toys ‘R’ Us and Target, will receive the prestigious honor for his retail leadership and philanthropy.

The National Father’s Day Council will celebrate the 75th anniversary of its Father’s Day Award, which has been previously been awarded to Frank Sinatra, President Bill Clinton, Terry Lundgren (chairman and CEO of Macy’s) and Vince Camuto. The award acknowledges those who lead by example and are dedicated to family, citizenship and charity.

The June luncheon honoring Storch will raise money for the Save the Children’s U.S. programs. The National Father’s Day Council and its sister organization, the National Mother’s Day Council, have donated more than $30 million to date to charities nationwide.
