Jessica Simpson is not afraid of serious shoe height. The star and footwear designer was at QVC Presents “FFANY Shoes on Sale” when she was asked about her favorite styles of the moment:
“Shoe trends are very important. I’m always about being on stilts and having a little lace,” she told Footwear News at Tuesday’s annual fundraiser event at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.
The mother of two also talked about how her style at home has changed. “I’m normally in sweats. I’ll wear some sweatpants and have heels on,” she laughed.
Simpson also noted that her daughter, Maxwell, is growing up quickly. “My daughter is about to be taller than me,” she said.

When Simpson isn’t working on her eponymous shoe line, she’s in the studio working on a new album. The release date and name are still under wraps.
“Music is happening, it’s so good,” she said. “I feel so complete right now. I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
