Kanye West Reveals Another Yeezy Shoe Is On The Way

Kanye West gave a memorable speech at the FN Achievement Awards on Wednesday night as he accepted his Shoe of the Year award, and while there were many standout sound bites, one stood out in particular.

West spoke highly of Adidas‘ Nic Galway, who he said is “in China right now working on the next Yeezys.”

There is near-constant hype around the Yeezys and when the next pair will be released. This year we’ve seen the release of the 750s, 350s in three colorways and the 950 boots (which West wore to the awards), plus the Yeezy Season 1 collection of apparel. Now we know for sure that another is imminent.

There had been speculation of a release this weekend, but Adidas shut that down on its Twitter account.

It is believed that the next release could be a black Yeezy 750 Boost, which Kim reportedly showed off on her app. In September, Adidas hinted on its Instagram account that a new iteration of the 750s would soon hit stores.

Adidas has also been recapping West’s epic year, from his launch of the 750s and Yeezy Season 1 in February to celebrating the first 350 launch at the Adidas Originals store in London.
