Kenneth Cole & Rock The Vote Team Up To Get Voters On Their Feet

As Hillary Clinton wrapped up Thursday’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Kenneth Cole will once again team up with Rock the Vote to get Americans on their feet and out to the polls for the 2016 presidential election.

Rock the Vote, the country’s largest nonprofit and nonpartisan organization encouraging young people to participate in the election process, partnered with the American designer for a campaign titled Stand Up, Show Up or Shut Up.

The advertising campaign will be rolled out through an outdoor, digital and social media plan.

“As Americans, our vote is a privilege often squandered,” Kenneth Cole said on the campaign website. “On Election Day, we all need to proudly wear our voices.”

Rock the Vote has worked for more than 25 years to make voting easier for young adults by simplifying voter registration. The designer and nonprofit’s partnership comes on the heels of Rock the Vote’s announcement on July 19 of a $4.5 million campaign called Truth to Power to increase millennial participation in the 2016 general election.

In support of Kenneth Cole’s campaign tagline “Look good, for good,” the ads feature several pairs of Kenneth Cole shoes including the men’s Elite Circle Leather high-top and the women’s Kiera Nubuck sneaker.

Earlier this year, Toms released its latest collection in conjunction with Rock the Vote. The line features a few new styles, as well as some longtime favorites, decked out with the Republican and Democrat party emblems.

Customers are encouraged to register to vote online at KennethCole.come/Vote and in-store at Kenneth Cole locations nationwide. For those already registered to vote, the campaign encourages them to share Rock the Vote’s online voter registration tool.
