TV personality Andy Cohen and actress/singer Miley Cyrus were the big winners at the amfAR Inspiration Gala in New York City last night, and both winners brought their very best fashion too.
Cyrus, the 22-year-old actress and LGBTQ and Aids activist, stepped out in a custom Moschino dress by Jeremy Scott and, not to leave her signature style out of the equation, Dr. Marten shoes.
Cyrus also seemed to have coordinated with her date for the night, Tyler Ford, who wore red Dr. Martens and a shorts-tuxedo combo. Ford is probably best recognized for being on “The Glee Project.”
Her parents, Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus were there also to support their daughter.
It’s been a big few weeks for Cyrus, who made the cover of “Paper” magazine wearing nothing, and also has been front and center in conversations about sexuality and gender identity. During her acceptance speech, Cyrus thanked the amfAR founders and her parents, and also called attention to the needs of the community. She ended her speech saying she hoped to live in a world one day that was Aids-free. As a part of the night, Cyrus also debuted the Caitlyn collection (inspired by Caitlyn Jenner) as a part of her accessories collaboration called Dirty Hippie with Jeremy Scott. Her own artwork fetched $69,000 at auction.

The other big winner of the night was Andy Cohen. Cohen arrived in a Ralph Lauren white tuxedo and pair of dapper lace-up black patent leather dress shoes.
